Well gel

Vinylux Burnt Romance-320x320I’ve finally got into doing my own nails at home.  I took the advice my gorgeously manicured friends have been giving for years and tried it myself.  The trick is using a base and a topcoat before and after your polish.  Having said that, the gel-like polishes in this new-ish range from the makers of Shellac already contain a base coat so you don’t need a separate one.  Still use a top coat.  It seems to work best with the top coat from the range.  They say this polish lasts a week without chipping.  It doesn’t but it does stay super glossy without too noticeable chips for 5 days.  And it dries v quickly so minimises accidents if you have to dash out and can’t wait for your nails to dry.  So still pretty impressive.  I’m quite liking this burgundy shade.

Rosebud lips

salveThere is a reason this has received cult status.  The gorgeous rosy balm is great for moisturising lips but can also be used to tame frizzy hair or keep brows in check.  It gives lips a sexy, pinky sheen so boys will love you wearing it.

Luxe-looking brogues

broguesThese brogues are super stylish and super comfy.  Will go with everything and perfect for transitioning outfits into Summer.  I love the cut out detail – totally on trend at the mo – and you have just enough of a heel to not look stunt-y.
